
In the first step of strategic convergence, CINVU and Kampala University have initiated extensive cooperation across the African continent by mutually leveraging each other’s capabilities and achievements.
According to the CINVU Public Relations Report, the foundation of this collaboration lies in Kampala University’s adoption of the educational and infrastructural advances—an initiative endorsed by Dr. Elham Gerami, CINVU’s Director of Research, and Dr. Wardah M. Rajab-Gyagenda, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Academics, Research, Innovation and Internationalization of Kampala University. Moreover, Kampala University will henceforth serve as one of CINVU’s focal points for collaboration with other universities across Africa.
Based on the report, Kampala University, with over two decades of active engagement in Uganda, pursues a fundamental approach to nurturing capable graduates and pioneering transformation and progress. This university has recently joined CINVU.
It is worth mentioning that the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technology network affiliated with the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. With the idea of creating educational equity, CINVU is a base for expanding universal public education based on smart and online technology that by networking of capacities, uses the power of education, research, innovation, and technology, in line with the approach of helping to empower and advance the countries of the Islamic world.
It is worth mentioning that the Danesh Gostar International Institute acts as the executive arm of the Islamic World Universities Network in the field of language education management.
